Its winter here in Oz and I hate winter so much LMAO. Hate the rain and cold...and grey skies...Its so totally depressing
I have my heater on high, and my cup of Warm milo and Im still freezing my ass off.
Im sitting at my comp, typing fast as I can, just so I can keep my almost frozen fingers from attaching themselves to my keyboard LOL.
Im so cold I dont wanna go out my front door.
So im not gonna. LOL.
Im gonna stay inside, and rewatch all my TOD collection.

ANd I'll start a new thread, too LOL.

For all the Myron fans out there.
Lets play "Magic Myron Moments".

All ya have to do is list one MMM, or several MMM's from Tour of Duty.

That should keep us all warm and fuzzy LOL.

Hey Lindy
I'm going to make you even more depressed, it is 25c in Belfast, NI today and I am feeling so hot and sticky.
My fav MMM is just about everytime he looks directly at the camera with those gorgeous brown eyes- probably too many eps to list them all LOL
What's your fav?

Hi Lorna, don't you mean your magic moments are every single time Myron appears on screen?? I like the scene in the cage when he and Zeke are laughing at the Vc p@@@ing on the other - and I just thought of another 3 or 4. He's got a very expressive face and its difficult to choose. It's 77F here, and I bet most winters down under are still warmer than a lot of our summers!

Love it when the guys have to entertain the native Vietnamese in series one, the one where Taylor mouths along to James Brown. When LT puts the cloak on him he just looks soooooooo gorgeous with those sunglasses.............hope you know which bit I mean!

Another MMM???
The gag reel and that red bra LOL.
When McKay knocks on the door and Myron answers it. Wearing the bra. Such a fearless leader! LOL.
another MMM is the episode where Myrons in this bar drowning his sorrows over Alex and McKay and somehow he's talking to this Vietnamese woman and he gets a dart all caught up in her hair. Then he later shoots the dartboard, sending patrons scurrying out in fear for their lives.
And then the bar is blown up and as Myron is picking himself up off the road he still has his cigarette in his mouth? LOL.

Its 78 degrees F in Pittsburgh today... and a rare sunny day...we usually have more cloudy days here than sun...
have many Myron moments...loved the tunnel eppy...when he kills the snake and confesses his fear..his reaction to it all impressed me..could feel the fear and hear it in his voice...and rescuing Zeke from the cave-in and his relieved laughter..any time Steve let go and laughed during the series really got to me....

of course I watched the scene where he kissed Nikki many times..the hand to the cheek and turning her towards him..very romantic

and I love the episode "Road to Long Bihn"...caught glimpses of Myron's failings and his triumphs in that episode

could go on and on,but have two sick people here to take care of and they both are men,so you KNOW what that means....

78 degrees???
Oh Man???? I want it to be summer again.
Im happier when Im warm and its sunny LOL.
I loved Myron in all those episodes you mentioned.
Lots of fav scenes for me, in Road to Long Binh.

the bit where Zeke is trying to warn Lt that some soldiers are approaching. ANd he's not sure theyre friendlies.
But the Lt wont listen cause he's too busy tearing strips off Digby for trying to escape off the jeep. Its the way Lt says "WHAT?" to Zeke, like he's totally pissed off at being interrupted, that cracks me up.

And the fight that spills out after they have lunch?
Myron comes out of the latrine and helps this guy up to his feet.
The guy says "Are they your buddies"
And poor unsuspecting Myron says "Yeah" and gets instantly punched in the nose.
Thats a classic.

Here's another MMM. Ive been watching "The Hill", the first few minutes when Myron and Nikki are rolling around on the sand re-creating that famous scene in "From here to Eternity" She tells him she's not Deborah Kerr and that no-one would mistake him for Burt Lancaster and he smiles and says in THAT voice "It happens all the time, all the time".... makes me go weak at the knees or is it because the guy is wearing practically next-to-nothing, just swim shorts, showing off his tanned, toned physique...Phew!!!

Do you remember in "No Where To Run?" when Zeke and Myron have to go and rescue Cjay and AnnaLies'man Danny in the bar/brothel? Myron took a punch at the guy and then holds his hand pitifully and says "I think I broke my hand" and the following scene with Zeke and Danny is hilarious!!!! He wants Zeke to be his best man...

rotflmao!!! Myron's getting the garter & when you catch the bouquet........!!!!!!
I liked the one in Season 3(?) where they are "rescuing" a high ranking Vietnamese general's wife & he has to put the cloth over the baby's face to keep her from crying. He was trying to teach Taylor a lesson in how to be a good leader so he could finally get his sargent stripe!
What about the best MMM....when he had to land the chopper & Mckay was trying to coach him down! Alex was trying not to act worried or upset! When Myron got out of the chopper...he kissed the ground! Luved it!

I'd like to include the "you work for me, I don't work for you" scene in Notes from the underground. And, in Pushing too hard, when Wallace says that he needs a prisioner, the way Myron faces his Co. and answers "I think we're all aware of that, SSSSIIIIRRRR".
And the first time he talks to Lang (Tia Carrere) in "Dislocations", his voice is so soft and sexy. What about having a guy like that telling you "you're very beautiful"? Wow...

: Lindy? Do you remember in "No Where To Run?" when Zeke and Myron : have to go and rescue Cjay and AnnaLies'man Danny in the bar/brothel? : Myron took a punch at the guy and then holds his hand pitifully and says : "I think I broke my hand" and the following scene with Zeke and Danny : is hilarious!!!! He wants Zeke to be his best man...

LOL Yes I do remember that scene. Myron acted that so well. I actually included it in my TOD songvid.
Myron was definitely after a sympathy vote LOL.
What a big woos?
I loved the way Zeke suddenly started thinkin he was gonna have to rescue 2 guys out of that brothel now, instead of one.
He was looking over at Myron (shakin his head in disbelief? or concern? Im not sure which) at the way Myron was jumpin up and down wringing his poor sore hand...
...Zeke had just seconds earlier been almost KO'd by a Danny Percell sucker punch.
It was like he was thinkin' "quit your moanin' Lt. Im the one with brain damage here. You only got a bruised knuckle"

LOL.

LOL. That scene in Notes is "thee" best scene imo.
"You work for me, I dont work for you" is such a good line. But ends up such a contradiction as Zeke quite often has the Lt doin just what he wants.
But Stephen says that line at the time, with such conviction. He got the volume, and the tone just right for a snotty nosed butter bar from QUeens LOL. And didnt he have the look on the face to match.
He'd done OCS.
Although he was scared as all hell, He wasnt gonna have an NCO tell him what to do.
NO SIR!!!

I was just watching The Hill (btw I still haven't found the Baker sliming) when they take the hill for the first and Myron's talking to the chopper, I love the expression on his face when he says "I've got no bodies, I've got no body parts - nobody's here"
Slightly different subject, we never talk about some of them here, but I think Taylor had some great lines. Like in USO Down at the beginning when he's complaining that his whole body's turning green and says "I can't go home smelling like I've been dead for two weeks".

BTW Lindy, its very hot here, according to the tv its been plus 30C - that's around 86F.
